Pulau Ketam is situated at the Port Klang, Selangor Darul Ehsan. Departs from Kuala Lumpur to Port Klang and we will  stops at a few places  and you will enjoying a very nice panoramic trip through the Klang Valley. In Klang itself you will take a high speed ferry to get there.

It’s only half hour ride away from the hustle and bustle of Port Klang. There will be two villages on the island,separated by jungle. There are Pulau Ketam and Sungai Lima. There will be no roads between those two villages. The people are from this island earn their living with fishing and smuggling.

In Pulau Ketam village you able to see the biggest seafood restaurant on the island which is Kuai Lok Hian. The population only 8000 people are mostly are chinese ( teochew,hokkien and hainanese ) All the houses surrounded are built on stilt above the mangrove swamps. The rustic village attracts visitors with it’s unique stilt village, where the wooden board streets are just five feet across. You also can find a clinic, schools, bank, mosque, church, police station, some pubs and hotels.

This island is strategically situated in a stop over point for fisherman route to the rich fishing grounds beyond. The island is now prospering fishing village with a bustling harbour that is frequented by scores of floating vehicles, ranging from wobbly sampan ( small row boat ) to clonking fishing boats and tonkangs ( lighter boat ). However the village doesn’t offer a vast territory to explore, it is an interesting village compact with recreation spots, captivating scenery, amazing seafood and the most important , a community of warm and gentle people.

If you wish to go eat seafoods, just go to Pulau Ketam for its fresh crabs, prawns and fish. It is indeed seafood gourmet paradise. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After the lunch  we will  drive up to the fabulous palace of Sultan of Selangor and visit the Sultan Sallehuddin Mosque, also known as a Blue mosque.
